Ok, I am not Catholic, so I'm probably incapable of fully understanding, but now it seems an archbishop in St. Louis wants to deny Communion to Catholic voters who support abortion rights? I figured a lot of it was spurred on by politics when John Kerry and other politicians were called out for their pro-choice views but now it's going down to each individual parishioner who votes for a politician that is pro-choice. I realize each religion has the right to make whatever laws it wants for the people who follow it but I find it a bit hypocritical that pro-choice people will be denied Communion whereas people who support war will not. If you're going to shut people out at least be consistent.
I could go on but I'm stopping now before I begin ranting out of control.
