Won't You Take Me to Funky Town

As in funk. As in the one I am in.

I miss the sun. We are in the middle of another series of grey days here in the cheese state. We had a glimmer of spring on Saturday for a few hours (in which Jason demolished the 50's style aluminum awning in the back yard- yay!) but now it's back to grey skies again. This type of weather makes me very unproductive and I hate that. Especially because being a stay-at-home mom I feel the obligation to be super-ultra-mega productive all the time to make up for the fact that my children do not pay me for my work (darn them!) Lately I've been spending way too much time on the computer, lolling around the house and going to bed early. I missed my dance class last night because I had a headache and a sore throat most of the afternoon and ended up turning in at 8 o'clock. The same bedtime as my five year old.

Woe, woe, woe is me.

I'm going to get my hair done this week. That always helps right?

  1. Crazy, I'm getting my hair done on Friday. So I will have no more hair drama! Good luck with your appt.
I know what you mean about the funk. I'm in another one myself. It was so nice one week, I worked out 5/7 days, and then it turned cold again, and I became Boo Radley again.

  2. Warmer, but no sun expected for the next week.
I think I'm going to invest in a sunlamp. You can borrow it.
