Weekly Weigh-In

I'm down three more pounds this week and off the diet soda (for now) as well! I've been drinking lots of water and green tea instead. Yummy. Let's see if I can take off ten more before this reunion thingy at the end of the month. It seems like a good deadline and I like deadlines.

  1. Congratulations! You are able to drop weight so much faster than most people I know, that's great.
    I am only down 7 lbs in the past few months. I need to step it up a notch. I thought losing 8lbs a month was about average, right?
    I would LOVE to lose 10 by the end of the month. Maybe we can be internet buddies and cheer each other on!

  2. I can totally cheer you on! I read that 1-2 pounds off a week is normal but that seems SO SLOW to me. I'm a baby and I like to see fast results. (Don't we all?) I feel pretty lucky that I've been able to take off on average three a week but my diet is SO restrictive that I wonder how I will be able to keep it off? I'm thinking of trying to go a couple of pounds past my goal so if I slip up when I go off the diet it won't be the end of the world.
    Are you doing any specific kind of diet right now? Technically I started out on South Beach but now I'm basically just staying away from all carbs and drinking tons of green tea and water. Sometimes I get so tired of veggies, meat and cheese that I'd rather have nothing at all.
    I miss red wine too.
