Pick-Me-Up
I came home from dance last night feeling good, albeit a tad old since I'm fairly sure I was the eldest one in class amongst a throng of high schoolers and college students. (Not that I can't roll with the kids or anything, but I just happened to notice.)
This morning as we were going out the door to school Juliana looked me up and down in my t-shirt and jeans and said, "Hey Mom, you look like a teenager!"
Made. My. Morning.

That is SO COOL!!!!! Oh my gosh! I'm so excited for you, it must feel great if your child compliments you on any level, but this, this is a great one! :)
I was feeling the "I am now 10 years older than high school seniors" (hence the reunion, etc) the other day. Having a compliment like that must make you feel like one too! :)

Uh oh, what do you suppose she wants?? ;)
Sounds like ALL of you girls are having fun these days! Hope Ava finds her own niche--I think she'd be a darling little tumbler!
