I Hate Fashion
Ok, I lied. I love clothes. But has anyone else seen this business about the skinny, tapered leg jeans coming back in style? I like the 80's as much as the next person but I'll be darned if tapered jeans look good on anyone who doesn't have the body shape of a ten-year-old boy. And if that isn't bad enough, there are people pairing them with FLATS of all things. Thanks for nothing Kate Moss! Fashion icon indeed. As if us short-legged girls are begging for more trends that will make us look like a squat little pear. I'm all for low-rise jeans dying out since it's near impossible for me to find pants that cover my behind but I'll keep my boot-cuts and flare legs, thank you very much.

Tracey: Note that the half-model in the photo you linked has no waist - sort of like a boy?
And how do you think I feel about gaucho pants coming back? They could at least wait till I'm dead before bringing back the clothes I wore when I was a tall, willowy 110 lbs.

Ha! I actually like the gaucho pants. I wear the stretchy ones to my dance class. I did hear that high-waisted pants are making a comeback though- which is nice because I'm tired of seeing butt cracks everywhere I go.
