i agree - it's crazy how things are totally blown out of control with the 'merry christmas' issue.

We're Christians and don't religiously celebrate Christmas, so I guess that means I have horns, huh? :)

Oh, well. I still have a tree and lights and stuff. I just don't feel the urge to break out the nativity scenes or "Jesus is the reason for the season" buttons. Maybe "Mithras is the reason for the season" buttons, but not "Jesus..." ones. :)

Oh Tracey. I laughed outloud at the bit about "Being the most popular and celebrated holiday in the country must be hard. Poor Christmas."

My extremely conservative dad sent me an email petition to request a bunch of stores to stop referring to Christmas Trees as Holiday Trees.

Really, is it worth getting into a big tizzy over? Is it such a problem that stores are trying to appeal to people other than Christians?

Sure, maybe political correctness goes a tad overboard sometimes, but it's not worth the energy to whine about it, in my opinion.

By the way, since you're probably all like "who are you?"... I ran across your myspace thing when I was looking for people from Auburn. I don't think we ever knew each other, but I remember you and Jason being a couple, and I think it's totally rad that y'all are married with kid(s?) and stuff. You guys are a totally cute couple. :)
